ACUPUNCTURE (TCM)

Acupuncture is a key component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in which thin needles are inserted into specific points in the body. It is an ancient form of medicine which has been supporting the health, well-being and recovery for thousands of years.

Acupuncture is the art of balancing the flow of energy (known as Qi) in your body. By inserting thin needles to specific points in your body, it triggers your body to react, stimulates nerves which may boost your immune system and your body's natural painkillers.

The common conditions we treat and provide relief are, but not limited to:

  • - All muscle injury and pain (shoulder, neck, leg, hip, elbow etc.)
  • - Chronic back pain;
  • - Sciatica;
  • - Digestive disorders;
  • - Chronic fatigue;
  • - Infertility;
  • - Insomnia;
  • - High cholesterol;
  • - High blood pressure;
  • - Depression;
  • - Stress
  • - Migraines/headaches
  • - Obesity/ Weight loss; and
  • - High fever.

TCM focuses on all factors that support your health and well-being (physical, mental and emotional symptoms) rather than simply focusing on factors that cause the condition.
